The Pan's pineapple pancakes are THE BEST. They are the most delicious soft fluffy pancakes with hidden morsels of pineapple tucked away. And it comes with pineapple syrup! They are such a good price, especially since you can add them to something like the Loaded Hashbrowns for only $5, and have a nice meal for two! Don't forget the lemonade though, it's amazing. Finally, you can't forget the staff, they are so on point. From seating you right away, to warm greetings, refilling drinks, and getting more sauce. They are efficient and they don't forget a thing! Love the Pan in Pasadena!
We had chicken and waffles for lunch. We were floored by the perfectly crispy outside and the tender juicy inside. We literally talked about it for days!! I've never had a better piece of fried chicken in my life!
This was my first time ever going to The Pan. My friend likes to go but every time we drive by it, there's a line out the door. On some weird fluke, we went by and although the place was full, there wasn't a line. I figured the food had to be good but I was not prepared for the deliciousness that would ensue. Oh my goodness, this meal was great. The cuban was perfection. The pork was roasted just right. The fries had a great crisp to them but were still soft on the inside (I think the must double fry them). They were seasoned very well, no ketchup needed. I went with a friend who got the blueberry pancakes. Outside of home-made pancakes, I had give up on having a decent one. It seemed regardless of the restaurant I went to, the pancakes were never quite cooked in the center. She convince me to have a piece. These are the best blueberry pancakes you will ever have. I think there is just a hint of lemon too. It taste almost like a blueberry cheesecake inspired pastry. The Pan has restored my faith in pancakes...well...I'll only order them from there. The prices are reasonable and the fact that you can sign in for a table at yelp is awesome. We got our order to-go as we were on a short lunchbreak but I will be taking my family there.
I am a slow eater, so I was surprised at how fast I swallowed this burger! Never have I ever been excited to eat a burger at a nice restaurant let alone a turkey burger, but it was so worth it. I'm surprised that this burger isn't a favorite on their menu. Everything about this burger was so good, I didn't want anyone to try it because that would've meant less for me HAHA! Their fries were also so good! They were made fresh and I would rank these fries as the best I've ever had. We also ordered the garlic bbq wings, I believe that's what they're called. I was not disappointed. It was great! Then my uncle ordered a large pizza, I forgot what kind but I took it back home for my family and the pizza was gone in minutes. All in all, everything tasted so good! I'm actually going back tonight! Can't wait. Thank you PAN for great customer service, great food and the beautiful atmosphere.
It was amazing 🥰😋 so good! We had a big group of ladies and they sat us down quickly & took care of us! We will be back soon
Had to ask server for pico de gallo and salsa to give tacos more flavor. Tacos were great!
Compared to The others this is great. Love the chicken it was great!
Love the Aioli over the dish. Your pancakes are to die for. The home made butter is even better. Glad you are open on Mondays.
Amazing, friendly service, huge delicious portions and superb coffee. I think I found my new breakfast place!
First time coming here for breakfast and I love it, parking was kinda of an issue.
Oh my!!! The most amazing pancakes!!! We love eating breakfast at The Pan and whenever we have guests in town, this is our go-to spot to share with them! Do yourself an favor and try the Pineapple Pancakes And make it Pina Colada- with topping with the mouth-watering coconut syrup!! I want some now lol! We also love the meat omelette, veggie omelette, cinnamon pancakes, blueberry pancakes- you can't go wrong! About to head in now for pizza!! Enjoy!!
Awesome dish one of the best i have had really recommend the chicken N waffles and you do get a lot . Its a bang for your buck!!
I've been to The Pan twice now and got the stuffed french toast both times because it was so good! It was sweet and the berries were fresh and very tasty! They are also really great about hosting groups, as we had a party of 18 and they were amazing and the service was just as good as if we had a smaller party. We will all definitely be going back soon!
The "Best Ever" Banana Pancakes is my go to for my dear wife on any special occasion. (normally I have this take out, if your early and quick it's still fluffy and fresh at home) Take there winning buttermilk pancake and go Extreme with bananas everywhere topped off with walnuts. This disk gets the hug and kiss award when I deliver this to the bedside. 😎
For me I love all pastries when they have lemon, lemon tarts, lemon cakes, lemon cheesecake, lemon bars, etc. So when my friend recommended lemon pancakes I had to try them so I went in (off topic but the waiter was extremely knowledgeable on the food) and they lived up to the hype. First things first they brought two massive fluffy pancakes with lemon all over them, there was no skimpy portion of lemon on the pancakes. It was just perfect chef kisses muah muah
The dish was fantastic, but exception that it needed more grits for a man born and raised in the south. The ambience was fantastic and my sister loved it. She immediately noted that she would be bringing my oldest niece and her fiance. I'll be back as well to try different dishes. Great Job.
I ordered the Buttermilk Fried Chicken dish, and let me just say--it is by far the best chicken you can get in the area. The chicken was breaded just perfectly--not too light, and not too heavy. It was the perfect crunchy, juicy chicken I've had in a while. The spinach layered over the chicken was indubitably creamy and paired well with the crunch of the fried chicken. The roasted red pepper gravy, which was dressed on top of the spinach and eggs, was delectable and complemented the entire flavor of the dish. The dish was also plated on top of a pancake, although the pancake was on the thinner side so I'm not sure if you'd consider it a pancake. Nonetheless, it was buttery, fluffy, and encapsulated all of the juices from the chicken. It was a pretty large serving, enough to be shared by about two people. The wait wasn't too long. We came during off-hours around 3:30 p.m., and there was a less than ten-minute wait. The service was fantastic! We were attended to immediately after we were seated. Rudy was extremely friendly and made sure we felt comfortable. He kept checking in with our table to make sure everything was okay. This is the service restaurants these days should strive to have, as I believe that not only should the food be tasty, but also the hospitality of customers should be considered with utmost importance. If you're in the area, I definitely recommend you try The Pan. Get the Buttermilk Fried Chicken, you won't be disappointed. I know where I'm going the next time I crave some juicy fried chicken! :)
Had a hankering for some breakfast food in the afternoon. The Pan was suggested so we went there. We didn't have a wait and was seated promptly. Decided on the Chicken and Waffles with blackberry syrup and from the a la carte option chose a single buttermilk pancake, order of bacon, a hash-brown and a side order of avocado. Was very tasty and the presentation was superb. Will visit again for breakfast as it was a pleasant experience. Our waitress was on top of her service and always was attentive even though she had multiple tables. Parking lot is tiny so be prepared to park in the street if you're not fortunate enough to park in site.
Crispy potatoes, bacon AND sausage, covered with perfectly cooked over easy eggs that ooze unctuous goodness over the top? Come on. It's not hard to guess why this is one of the most talked about breakfast dishes here. It's a fantastic combination of everyone's favorite parts about breakfast. So what are you waiting for? Go! Go there now!
The best pancakes ever!
I SO love their Pot Roast-I am so glad it finally is on the menu and I can order it and take an order to my mom. Thanks 😋
The breakfast platter was extremely delicious! I added some salt to both the potatoes and eggs but thats due to personal preference. Will be coming back soon
I tried the Lemon Pancakes and they were absolutely amazing !! I pride myself on trying to taste everything on the menu of my favorite restaurants and I have to say these pancakes beat out the best of the best ! They're tart with the custard but the fluffy hot pancakes (and a little syrup!) with these make it the perfect addition to a hearty breakfast omelet or you can eat them on their own! Don't miss out on the best item on the menu!
Delish! Surprised it's not a popular dish. Perfectly seasoned beef and combo with sweet corn cake mixed with smoky slightly spicy poblano sauce YUM! This meal maintained tastiness over " girl chat" and was even enjoyable cold. Highly recommend this chill comfy place and this delightful dish.
Gotta have it. I have a new addiction--the great tasting "Original Loaded Hash Browns. My nieces and I had this for breakfast today, wow! Delicious. just the right mix of egg, cheese, potato, sausage and bacon! My nephew had the breakfast burrito and did not share, he liked it so much. Thanks Pan. I am a new customer but will see you soon!
Wow! These were hands down the best pancakes I have ever had. I was worried that they'd be too much (overly sweet, cloying) but the dish was so balanced and the perfect "dessert-for-breakfast". Wish I could refresher them at home.
I literally have NEVER had Carne Asada fries taste this heavenly🔥. I would recommend this dish for my Carne Asada lovers!!
This dish was so divine and tasty. I thought that I was visiting New Orleans Louisiana. I cannot wait to return to The Pan. We had awesome customer service as well The customer service was awesome. Jessica was very friendly and helpful.
Very good meal
This was our first visit..I brought my niece and nephew for their b'days..we all enjoyed meals..I will be back
There's a sign outside The Pan that cheerily proclaims it "A REASON TO GET OUT OF BED." I'm not sure if they meant that you were scrolling through Yelp in bed on a Sunday afternoon and decided to get out of bed to go to the restaurant for dinner, but that's how I interpreted the sign (and then thought "what a coincidence, I just got out of bed"). And any place the leans so heavily into the breakfast all day philosophy can get my business. The menu looks like the owners got together and instead of saying, "what are we good at making?" they said "what are ALL the things we want to eat ALL day and how can we make them as ridiculously tasty as possible?" We had the "Original" loaded hash browns, which are hash browns with eggs, bacon, sausage, green onions, cheese and - crucially - chili aioli. We also couldn't resist getting the cinnamon roll pancakes, as well as a little Hawaiian pizza with pulled pork, ham and pineapple (no we didn't finish it all). Our food looked so amazing an older fellow came by and asked if he could take photos of our food. Of course, I promptly took a photo of him taking a photo of our food, and I won't share it here out of respect for his privacy, but I assure you that the look on his face is one of unbridled joy. And that is really the reason to come here. I mean this in the best way possible, but there are restaurants you go to eat poorly, and restaurants you go to eat healthy. The Pan is neither of those. It's a restaurant you go to eat happy.
Saw a photo and had to give it a try
First of all the food was SO good here that we went back again the same week! Our first time we ordered a few different things to try....and we couldn't even finish a quarter of the dishes. The carne asada fries are to doesn't for, the wings at every crispy, juicy, and flavorful....not to mention the delicious buttermilk pancakes are light, fluffy, and addictive! We saw several diners ordering more before they even finished what they had. The shrimp and grits did not disappoint! It was FULL of fresh flavorful shrimp layered over creamy cheesy grits and topped with their special sauce. There are so much I had to take it home, but it was even better the next day! Can't recommend this place enough! The only thing better than the food is the friendly staff!
First time was Gardena, Thrilled to find another PAN in Long Beach..A fabulous sandwich.....will be back again and again.
Very flavorful but not so overpowering on the vanilla, which is perfect. I get this drink every time.
This is an awesome breakfast dish! Reminds me of the homemade biscuits & gravy my Grandmother would make!!! You have to try this dish!
I been going here for 5 years and it is the most delicious breakfast in a 1,000 mile radius.
It was so different from the normal Benedict - it was amazing! Different taste and textures! I would order it again, and again and again!
